Bunbury Heritage Strategy

The City engaged with the community on the Bunbury Heritage Strategy in March/April 2021.

Heritage is the stories, objects and places that are important to our local history and identity. The conservation of our heritage and these valuable landmarks is crucial to preserve the City's character.

The City of Bunbury recognises the significant role that heritage plays in the life of the City and is now preparing its Heritage Strategy.

This strategy will define the actions and the basis for the development of projects, policies and other initiatives that contribute to preserving, enhancing and promoting Bunbury’s local heritage.

As well as direct engagement with heritage property owners and other stakeholders, the community were invited to have your say by completing the survey below.

Community input will help guide the management and the conservation of the City’s heritage into the future.

The City of Bunbury acknowledges the traditional owners of the land, the Wardandi Noongar people, and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
