Help Shape Bunbury's Reconciliation Journey
Reconciliation is something we build together.
The City of Bunbury is developing a new Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in partnership with Marrak Holdings and is inviting the community to contribute to its development.
The City previously participated in the Greater Bunbury Reflect RAP developed in 2019. Building on that work, the new RAP will help guide the City's next stage of reconciliation while reflecting local priorities and aspirations.
The RAP is being developed through Reconciliation Australia's framework and will focus on strengthening relationships, increasing understanding and identifying future actions that support meaningful reconciliation outcomes.
Before the plan is developed, we want to hear from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, community members, businesses, community groups and organisations. Your experiences, ideas and perspectives will help identify the priorities, opportunities and actions that matter most to our community.
Why participate?
Your feedback will help inform:
- How the City acknowledges and celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage
- Opportunities to strengthen relationships and partnerships
- Future reconciliation priorities and actions
- Ways the City can support meaningful and lasting outcomes for the community
What happens with your feedback?
We want you to feel comfortable sharing your views. All survey responses will be treated as strictly confidential, and you can choose to complete the survey anonymously if you prefer.
All responses will be reviewed by the project team, Marrak Holdings and the RAP Working Group. Findings will be analysed and reported as a summary of community feedback and used to help inform development of the City's next Reconciliation Action Plan. Every response helps build a better understanding of what matters most to our community.
