Option 1 Mangrove and Marine Friends
This design proposal reflects the theme of mangroves and marine friends. This theme is achieved by strategically intertwining play elements that mimic the natural surroundings of this beautiful foreshore location.

The flora multi-play climbing unit is designed to replicate the mangroves and encourage children to navigate between the bending branches to explore the play features from one end to the other.

The whale climbing unit, fish springer and dolphin springer encourage children to engage with the marine creatures that inhabit the surrounding waters of the Bunbury area.
Inclusive play opportunities are fostered through the placement of play elements such as the wheelspin carousel, accessible from the main picnic shelter via the unitary synthetic turf access pathway.
The turf proposed is blue to represent the winding waterway of the inlet.
Cognitive games such as the tile slide fish puzzle will provide children of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to problem solve as they move the puzzle slider pieces to produce a marine scene.

Option 2 Foreshore Adventures

This design proposal reflects the theme of foreshore adventures.
This theme is achieved by strategically intertwining play elements that mimic the natural surroundings of this beautiful foreshore location.
The flora multi-play climbing unit is designed to replicate the mangroves and encourage children to navigate between the bending branches to explore the play features from one end to the other.
The multi-play unit complete with fish and seahorse noughts and crosses, dolphin diving sensory play panel and dolphin springer encourage children to engage with the marine creatures that inhabit the surrounding waters of the Bunbury area. Inclusive play opportunities are fostered through the placement of play elements such as the spinning disc, accessible from the main picnic shelter via the unitary synthetic turf access pathway. The turf proposed is blue to represent the winding waterway of the inlet.
Music-making is encouraged through the addition of the rainbow chimes. These chimes are pentatonic tuned and provide children with the opportunity to explore the musical scale as they play songs with their friends and family.

Option 3 Dinosaurs and Dragonboats

This design proposal reflects the theme of dinosaurs and dragonboats. This theme is achieved by strategically intertwining play elements that will ignite the imaginations of all those who visit here.
The festival of dragon boats echoes the sounds of paddlers working in harmony to keep the boat moving at a great pace.
The bongo drums shown in this design proposal will enable children to beat the drum to keep their friend in the dragon boat springer paddling in unison as they power through the inlet (blue synthetic turf).
The sand multi-play unit incorporates traditional elements such as stairs, platforms and slides with the joy of sand.
Children can engage in a sensory play delight as they use the sand pulley to heft sand from the ground level to their friends on the higher decks.
Sand bowl and table stencils offer additional sand play fun for children of all ages.
The plesiosaurus and stegosaurus dinosaur climbers will encourage children to climb to new heights as they explore the many play features these dinosaur friends have to offer.

The pterodactyl swing set will have kids soaring through the sky as they look down at the dragon boat races in the water below them.
